Forestación A forest to reverse erosion processes and create biodiversity refuges in Palencia

Project for the restoration of land that has been highly degraded by agricultural activity and soil erosion by climatic agents. In an area marked by the abandonment of hillside land in unproductive agricultural areas, a forest mass with an important protective function of the soil will be ensured to reverse processes of erosion and ecological degradation and improve biodiversity.

It will involve the transformation of degraded land into a mixed forest with species of great ecological and landscape value of conifers (stone pine) and hardwoods (almond and hawthorn), providing cover and refugee for wildlife.
