Transforming the landscape to create a multifunctional and biodiverse forest in Zamora

Sustainable management of 535 ha of forest in the Zamora region, gradually reforesting and transforming 317 ha of coniferous plantations into various mixed forests, with broadleaf species of important ecological value, including together with pinus pinaster, pyrenean oak, holm oak, olive, cherry, elm and rowan.

The project will implement advanced biodiversity monitoring and create bird habitats and ponds to support local bird and amphibian populations. In addition, it will support the local economy through the diversification of forest resources and the generation of employment.
