La Florida Carbon2Nature

Sustainable forest management in the Sierra Madre of Durango

The project is being developed with Ejido La Florida and Ecoforest, our partners in this ambitious initiative that aims to impact 11,294 hectares through Improved Forest Management practices. These actions strengthen carbon sequestration, protect biodiversity, promote forest rehabilitation and reforestation, and prevent pests and fires, ensuring sustainable ecosystem management. All activities are carried out in close collaboration with the communities that have stewarded this territory for generations and remain at the heart of its conservation.
